CURRENT FUNDRAISERS
- Scrip Cards - Scrip orders are placed onced ALL money has been deposited. Please understand that from the time the money/orders are due and the time the cards come in will be about 2 weeks. Please allocate accordingly. Please contact Johnene Dana for upcoming order dates or refer to the Facebook fan page for AGPA or your e-mail for updates.
- eScrip - You register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit and credit cards for use in the program. Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered. Your purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child's behalf! Visit www.escrip.com and select Apollo Gymnastics Parent Association or ID # 500000024.

Market Day

Be sure to add "-AGPA" at the end of your last name when you order so that your order will be credited appropriately to AGPA Fundraising.
SCRIP
This is another easy way to raise funds for the AGPA! Don't forget for our away meets, you can purchase hotel gift cards prior to your stay and a portion of that card will go back to the AGPA! If you are going grocery shopping, you can pre-purchase a SCRIP card for Giant, Safeway, etc prior to going - and you've just put some money into the AGPA!

AGPA purchases the SCRIP cards from SCRIP directly at a discounted price. So, you want to give a $25.00 gift card to Starbucks to your childs teacher for Christmas or end of year Thank You. You will request the Starbucks card from the AGPA (Johnene Dana) by filling out the AGPA SCRIP Card request form. The SCRIP card for Starbucks gives the AGPA a 7% discount on the card, so when the AGPA orders the $25.00 card, the AGPA only pays $23.25 for the card.

Verizon Velocity (Internet, TV and Phone service plans)
Do you currently have another internet, cable TV and/or phone service plan and are thinking of making the switch to Verizon? If you answered yes, please consider using the Verizon Velocity program to sign up for your service – those orders qualifying and following the steps in the document linked below, Verizon will send a $65.00 check to AGPA as a gift!

Sponsorships
We encourage all parents to participate in sponsorships! Before you go ask for sponsorships, be sure to contact Johnene Dana (sponsors@apollogymnasticspa.org) to make sure that the company, Dr, restaurant etc have not been asked by an Apollo parent already. The document is available in MS Publisher for download and copies are available in the Sponsorship folder in the team folders box upstairs at Apollo Gymnastics.

Corporate Community Service Grants
Did you know that corporations such as Verizon, Northrop Grumman and others will recognize your volunteer efforts based on the hours you perform as a volunteer for AGPA and make a monetary donation to the AGPA? Contact your employers for specific details as each company is different. If you have any questions on what information to provide once you determine that your employer does have a volunteer matching program, please e-mail AGPA Secretary at AGPASec@ApolloGymnasticsPA.org.
WEB BASED FUNDRAISING
Mother Earth – Online shopping
Green Fundraising with Mother Earth is a great way for organizations to “Raise Money Responsibly” by selling eco-friendly products that fall under the following categories:
- Organic
- Fair-Trade
- Recycled
- Recyclable
- Reusable
- Educational
- Non-Toxic
You can purchase items any time throughout the year and we will continue to receive credit. You can begin supporting us by:
1) Shopping for ‘green’ products at www.motherearthfundraising.com
2) Select our group as your beneficiary at checkout. You can also credit AGPA by selecting “VA” from the State pull down menu on the home page and then “Apollo Gymnastics Parents Asso” in the group pull down menu.
3) These items will be shipped directly to you via UPS or USPS.
DGS 9.9 Kip Club
AGPA is now a Kip Club Member! Do you need to order grips, clothing, gifts for a gymnast friend or even home equipment? Click here and AGPA will receive 5% of the sales!
GoodSearch & GoodShop
Be sure to add http://www.goodsearch.com to your frequent web sites you use to search the internet. Just select Apollo Gymnastics from who you would support and that’s it! You are on your way to searching the internet or selecting GoodShop and with each click on a link or each purchase you select through GoodShop, a percentage is return to the AGPA!

For the 2010/2011 season, the AGPA will not be participating with ARAMARK at the summer concerts. Please stay tuned for further updates!
